Reporter Steve Blane arrives in Cheyenne looking for the famous outlaw Arapaho Brown. But when Araphao saves his life, he learns that Sam Drummond is the real outlaw and his gang are impersonating Arapaho and his boys.
With the hoax now exposed, Drummond and his boys chase Blane to a ranch where he and a few others find themselves outnumbered and once again in need of Arapahos help.
